Putting in the all-nighter also gets you closer to 100 spins, which should guarantee the hero for anywhere from 7200 to 8800 gems, depending on when you went to sleep.
But, unless you get as lucky as this guy who pulled a 1 in 3 million shot out of the bag, what happens if you don't hit it big this week?
Then you have to make hard decisions in the Exchange. Lucky for you, the consolation prizes are fantastic.
Assuming you can't afford the heroes, the exchange offers the two most valuable resources in the game: hero shards and weapon tokens. Put as many vials towards those as you can. Personally, I'm going to Echo Shards to get her to 3* because I'm impatient; however, weapon tokens are probably a smarter long-term investment.
Any leftover tokens go to energy, as that converts into the most resources.
